Having excoriated the man - with ample justification - I must applaud his diplomatic efforts with the Muslim world. It seems to me that there must be sane, influential members of that group that can lead them away from maniacal acts of terrorism. We should continue searching for them, and B.O.'s overtures are a fine idea.
